Y'know, over the years, I've worked with some people I just cannot get along with. Personalities can clash and so it goes.
But a little more frequently I run into the people who are incredibly frustrating to deal with not because I can't get along with them, but because I can't effectively communicate with them. No matter how many times I try to explain how our systems work, they just don't get it. And when they come to me with a question, I flounder because they've asked it in such a way that I don't have any idea what they're talking about. Perhaps the worst part of this is such people tend to be found in managerial positions, so they're "senior" to me...

While I may not explicitly have a solution to the issue, I can at least relate? *hug*
ReplyDeleteTangential: I really wish people accepted to a position, managerial or otherwise, that includes "online" in the description could be expected to at least be able to set up their own email client if given the necessary information.
