Ugh. Pink.
I was going to start somewhere else, but the top bar on the page is pink. Ugh. I... dislike Valentine's Day.
That aside, I feel a bit scattered of late.
- I've had Star Wars on my mind to the point of browsing Wookieepedia. Done a little writing. Got caught up on the KotOR comic series. Re-installed Jedi Outcast. Got to play a little more in an online game that's been on hold quite a while - I love my droid character. He's perfect for it. Being a droid, he can be quiet much of the time and fade into the background, yet he's free to make snarky comments for comedy value.
- Playing WoW still. Not great leaps and bounds of progress lately. Sorta think maybe I should take a break for a while. I'd love to see more new stuff from the expansion (the draenei starting quests quite impressed me), but my closest character is at least 10 slow levels from the the new Outland areas.
- Furryfaire is in another state of flux. After months and months, there's finally work going into the new mechanics. Of course, being new, it'll have to undergo revisions when bugs come up, characters will have to be converted... ugh. Honestly, I used to care more than I do now.
- Finished reading Dead Beat. Lasciel, for all her limited appearance, was a perfect reminder of the seductive demon archtype and she's already a favorite character of mine for it. 'course, I still feel great sympathy for Harry, and the books still feel strong after six of them, unlike some series that lose their charm. Been watching the Dresden Files TV series too, and enjoying it in spite of the differences from the books. I went through so many Tenchi Muyo continuities that I've no trouble appreciating the series as a separate entity.
- With all that, I haven't even gotten back to Final Fantasy XII lately. I... feel kinda bad about it. >.>
- Work is still work. Not too difficult most of the time, though the Online Service department is expanding and calling on me in new and annoying ways. This is a newspaper, not an ISP. I'd really rather we not become an ISP. I've never needed to know my way around Linux, therefore I do not know my way around Linux. If you ask me about things I do not understand, I can try to learn, but do not expect me to have answers ready for you. Rawr.
Wishes of a happy day to those who care, and ciao for now.
