But...

I don't want to get stuck paying for another MMORPG:

And in even more depressing news, it sounds like repair costs are going to be $3800 or $4100, depending on which approach we pick. Gee, that's only 50%-100% higher than we discussed at the meeting. And that's... a @#$%load of money from where I sit.

  1. Ha! I mock Games Workshop! mock mock mock mock mock! Why? Because they're making an MMO. Games "I don't see video games ever taking off" Workshop. The guys who turned down Blizzard when Blizzard went up to them and said 'hey, we're making a game, and want to use Warhammer and Warhammer 40K for it'. You know, WarCraft and StarCraft? How about World of WarCraft, one of the biggest MMOs out there. And Games Workshop turned them down! I mock them for trying to come into the MMO world now. mock mock mock mock mock!

  3. I was really looking more at KotOR, which (to my knowledge) has zilch to do with Games Workshop. >.>

  4. True enough, and I feel bad for you about that, too.

  5. To top it off, tonight seems to be the night for charities calling and asking for money from me. Two so far. Baaad timing. I don't know. I despise the thought of picking up debt in order to pay for this and having to pay that off over the next however-many months. I've managed to stay mostly debt-free (save my mortgage). But worse than that, I feel sort of bent over a barrel here. The repairs need to be done, so whatever the cost is, we end up having to pay. Meanwhile, I've been less than impressed with the service we've paid for in other areas like snow removal. Different people, but still there's no real good guarantee of quality.
