How the Heck
When a laptop is sent back for repairs, I can see a certain sequence of events. Obviously, parts need to be tested, starting with the reported problem. When the report includes a failed hard drive, naturally you'll want to start there and (upon confirming the problem) replace it.
So how does someone replace the hard drive and NOT put the cover back over it. Heck, it even has one of the rubber "feet" on it, so the laptop wobbles while typing without it. One plastic plate and a couple small screws - it's not like we're talking a lot of work here. And yet, that's exactly how we got one of our repaired laptops back at work.
The mind boggles.

You know they're only working as techs until they're re-hired by NASA... I feel the same way about Dell Tech support.
